POWER AUDITIONING and REPERTOIRE BUILDING

If a student knows the basics of where to stand and what song to choose, the next step is to learn how to 💥CRUSH the audition! Each student will learn SPECIFICALLY what THEIR NEXT LEVEL of auditioning is.

• Peer and professional review of a 32-bar audition cut in each class.

• Development of repertoire.

• Learn professional audition techniques and tips.

• Build confidence singing in front of audiences.

ACTING THROUGH SONG and BELTING

Learning how to connect to the expressive content of a song is one of the most important skills to develop as a singer, and is our highest priority here at TWVS. This class will teach students how to genuinely connect to their songs.

Students will learn the importance of mastering their true belt, along with techniques for mixing and head voice based on our unique multi-style vocal approach.

Starred as Morris Delancey (u/s Jack Kelly) in the first national tour of Disney’s high-energy Tony Award-winning hit musical, “Newsies”.

A New York based Actor, Vocalist and Teacher. Received his BFA in Musical Theater at Pace University in New York.

LINDSeY carothers

Performed on Broadway in Bring It On the Musical, and Gettin’ the Band Back Together, as Glinda on the national tour of Wicked, and in various Off-Broadway shows.

She received a BFA in Musical Theater from Pace University in New York.
